Turnkey solutions

At SIC we offer our clients effective turnkey solutions in the establishment of wind turbine foundations and related civil works. During the projection phase we can also assist engineers and builders with consultancy and proposals for solutions for both foundations and all of the related civil works that go into establishment of wind turbines.

We work closely with the wind turbine manufacturers to ensure that the technical specifications for the foundation correspond to the selected wind turbine type and the foundations meet the latest requirements for the field at all times.

Foundations – RockAdapter

SIC are specialists in establishing wind turbine foundations on bedrock. The RockAdapter is thus a type of foundation that has been especially developed for establishing wind turbines on bedrock. The concept was developed in collaboration with WindTechnique A/S.

The most important benefits of the RockAdapter foundation:

- Minimal use of concrete

- Limited use of explosives

- Less complicated to execute

Foundations – Gravitation

SIC also constructs regular gravitation foundations. We can offer our services in designing solutions, both based on existing sketches, but also alternative foundation design from scratch to optimize the material consumption.

Civil works – Road system - Cabel extention

As supplier of turnkey solutions in establishment of wind turbine foundations, SIC also offers related civil works to prepare the site. It can for example be forestry clearance, proposals for solutions for and establishment of road system to and from the site, crane standings, cable extension and other civil works.

Grouting in normal and arctic climate

We provide grouting under foundation windtower flanges for all wind turbine suppliers on the market.

The grout is blended using a special mixer/pump with timer, water dosage and logging of data for mix documentation.

Cube tests is provided on place in our mobile laboratorium.

In cold climate we are able to heat both foundation and flange to secure the process.

HSQE – Quality assurance

At SIC we are accustomed to clients as well as authorities setting high standards for safety, environment and working environment. In order to provide and carry out a high degree of quality, and also guarantee our clients and suppliers an environmentally friendly and safe working environment, we have hired a full-time specialist in the field of environment and working environment.
