Near Narvik in Northern Norway, SIC has established rock-anchored foundations for the Nygårdsfjellet project phases I+II.
In the first phase, three foundations were established, and two years later another 11 foundations were built. The foundation was built as RockAdapter, with minimal use of concrete and steel and minimal impact on the nature and the environment. SIC has type approval for the RockAdapter, and the quick installation time was important in the project, as the working window is limited to just a few months a year because of the winter weather.
